Two Seasons, One Development Standard

Outdoor Program

Outdoor programming typically runs from June through August at Toronto Hawks parks in North York. Exact days, venues, session frequency and festival information are published for each outdoor season so families always receive the current details.

Indoor Program

The Indoor 2026–27 program offers a 3-month Fall option and a 6-month Fall & Winter option. Smaller spaces and carefully managed groups create more involvement, quicker decisions and more direct coaching.

What a Session Looks Like

Ages 5–7 — 60 Minutes

  • Welcoming movement-based warm-up
  • Ball familiarity, balance, coordination and fundamental technique
  • Creative challenges that build confidence and problem-solving
  • Age-appropriate games and small-sided play

The emphasis is engagement and development. Players learn through movement, repetition and enjoyable game situations.

Ages 8+ — 90 Minutes

  • First 15 minutes: dynamic warm-up and physical preparation
  • Development blocks: one or two focused activities covering technique, movement, decision-making or Sport IQ
  • Final 30 minutes: competitive small-sided game with active coaching and feedback

Across the indoor season, training-focused weeks may alternate with match-focused weeks so players can apply what they learn under realistic pressure.
